Pictures from the 2005 Race Unity Picnic
The 47th Annual Race Unity Picnic was held in Maple Grove at Avery Park on Saturday, August 20.
The event was attended by friends from the Bahá’í community, the Corvallis NAACP, the Community Alliance for Diversity, the Martin Luther King Commission of Corvallis, as well as many people who received personal invitations.
We enjoyed a musical presentation from Chatta Addy, an African drummer from Portland, followed by a wonderful lunch and strengthening our social bonds.
