Delegate Returns from 100th National Bahá’í Convention

The elected delegate from Oregon Bahá’í District 159 (including among them Benton County) has returned from the 100th National Bahá’í Convention held in Foundation Hall of the Bahá’í House of Worship for North America in Wilmette, Illinois. The four day event included 171 delegates from all parts of continental USA who gathered to elect the members of the national governing body of the Bahá’ís of the United States termed the National Spiritual Assembly. In addition, the delegates consulted and made recommendations and suggestions concerning the activities of the Bahá’í Faith in the USA and the world.
