Junior Youth Eco-Camp August 1-3, 2008
Junior Youth Ecological Camps engage middle school youth in creative, scientific, spiritual, and service activities. The youth study and discuss their relationship with the environment, and put their understanding into practice through service activities.
Activities will include:
• Camping and food preparation
• Collaborative games
• Study of spiritual themes such as unity in diversity
• Art activities and drama presentations
• Service projects
• Evening campfire with reflection and storytelling
You are invited! The camp will be on the following dates:
Friday August 1 - Sunday August 3
The camp runs from 3 pm on Friday through 7 pm on Sunday, and includes a barbecue from 5 - 7pm – youth, parents, siblings and friends are invited to the barbecue! The camp asks a $25 nominal fee.
