Children’s Spiritual Education
One of the Core Activities offered by the Bahá’ís and open to all
Spiritual Education for Children (ages 5-10)
(for older children, see Junior Youth and Youth Education)
Children’s classes emphasize character building and the development of spiritual qualities that will bring them closer to God, such as unity, truthfulness, justice, generosity, kindness and patience. Each lesson focuses on a different virtue and includes prayers, learning of short quotations from the Bahá’í writings, singing, stories, collaborative games and coloring pages that directly reinforce the lesson.
MOST CLASSES BEGIN IN THE FALL AND COINCIDE WITH THE REGULAR SCHOOL YEAR.
However, some classes continue through the summer.
